Dead In Three Days

In Ebensse, the teenagers Nina, her boyfriend Martin, Clemens, his girlfriend Alex and Mona are best friends since childhood. On their high-school graduation day, they all receive the same message on their cell phones: “In three days you will be dead!” They all believe it to be a stupid joke by their weird schoolmate Patrick. However, when Martin is found dead in the lake, the group realizes it is not a prank. When Nina is attacked and Patrick is killed trying to save her, they recall a tragic incident from their childhood.

This film was the most successful movie at the box office that year and sparked a sequel, which is very rare for European features in this genre.

My first collaboration with director Andreas Prochaska. Many thanks to picture editor Karin Hartusch for bringing us together.
